นกอินทรีกับอีกา














นกอินทรีตัวหนึ่งเกาะอยู่บนหน้าผาครั้นเห็นลูกเกาะตัวหนึ่งเดินห่างออกมาจากฝูง จึงบินลงมาโฉบเอาลูกแกะตัวนั้นติดกรงเล็บของมันไปได้อย่างง่ายดายด้วยอุ้งเล็บอัน แข็งแกร่ง อีกาตัวหนึ่งเมื่อเห็นเช่นนั้น มันคิดว่าตัวของมันนั้นก็อาจที่จะสามารถทำอย่าง นกอินทรีได้เหมือนกัน ครั้นแล้วเมื่อมันเห็นพ่อแกะตัวหนึ่งเดินเข้ามาใกล้ต้นไม้ที่มันกำลังเกาะอยู่ มันจึง บินโฉบลงไปทันที และใช้เล็บของมันจิกหลังของแกะเอาไว้อย่างเหนียวแน่น แล้วสิ่งนี้นี่เอง ที่เป็นเหตุทำให้ขาของมันต้องติดแน่นพันอยู่กับขนแกะจนแกะไม่ออก และแมัมันจะพยายาม ดิ้นรนอย่างไรก็ไม่หลุด คนเลี้ยงแกะได้รีบมาจับตัวของมันเอาไว้
เมื่อคริปปีกออกจนอีกา ไม่สามารถที่จะบินหนีไปทางไหนได้แล้ว เขาก็ได้นำมันกลับมาให้ลูกของเขาเล่นที่บ้าน“พ่อจ๋า นี่เอานกอะไร? มาให้หนู” ลูกคน เลี้ยงแกะเอ่ยถามขึ้นด้วยความสงสัย ผู้เป็นพ่อยิ้มหยันที่มุมปากก่อนที่จะตอบลูกของเขาว่า “ถ้าถามมัน มันก็คงจะบอกว่ามันคือนกอินทรี แต่ลูก ก็เห็นอยู่กับตานี่ว่ามันเป็นแค่เพียงอีกาหน้าโง่ ตัวหนึ่งเท่านั้นเอง..ลูกว่าไหมล่ะ?”
















The Eagleนกอินทรี and the Crow อีกา

"Well," he said,
"if you were to ask ถาม him, he would tell you that he's an eagle.But if you will take my word for it, I know him to be nothing but a poor ต่ำต้อย crow."


นิทานเรื่องนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า

       บางครั้งผู้ที่ไม่รู้จักประมาณพลังของตัวเอง ก็ย่อมจะต้องพบกับความวิบัติ
